Watch Video
'Inside Out' is the name of my latest instrumental solo album. The compositions can be described as a musical expression (from inside out) based on the impressions of my journeys around the world for the last decade. Besides having recorded the drums & percussions, i also expressed myself on other instruments such as piano, rhodes, organ, synths, electric bass, electric guitar and acoustic guitar.
The album not only contains an audio CD but also a DVD where the entire recording session has been captured on video. As a bonus feature i included some educational material such as practice routines + tips & tricks for the drum kit, and a gear talk, showing and explaining the equipment i used in the studio.
The album will be available as a physical CD/DVD package but also as a download version (bonus material not included), and will be released in 2013.

STUDIO
Drum Recording Session for german guitarist Barish Kepic's new instrumental solo album 'Addicition', which will be available by the end of 2012. Barish has recorded all guitars and bass in Germany while i have been tracking the drums in Sydney, Australia. I'll be flying out to Germany next month for a few live shows but also to get together with Barish to mix his album. So, stay tuned!!! ;o)
DRUM WORKSHOP MASTERCLASS
Another highlight of this month is the announcment of the 1. Episode of a Drum Workshop Masterclass Series on Saturday 29. September, 10:30am.
The Masterclass will be conducted by me and my dear drummer friend Dave Sleishman. Together we will be mentoring a limited amount of participants and we will be focusing on wrist and finger muscle developing exercises, rudimental exercises, dynamic and phrasing exercises. Workshop books will be given to each participant on the day. Practice pads, music stands and snare drums will be provided. Please bring your own pair of sticks. Estimated workshop time 3 hours.
