Andy´s passion for music started at the early age of six. He took lessons in Drums, Guitar, Bass and Piano, and developed his skills in music theory, harmony and history. One of his teachers was Michael Gaertner (Munich Philharmonic Orchestra). After years of preparation, Andy studied Jazz and Popular music at the Vienna Conservatory.

Throughout his career Andy had the opportunity to be part of many projects, productions, recordings and concerts across Europe and Australia. One of his trademark is the variety of performing styles such as Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Metal, Reggae, Ska, Latin, Funk, Country and Drum & Bass.

Besides being a fantastic performer and mentor, Andy´s skills kept developing over the years. He composes and produces music for his solo projects and for others, as well as being a sound engineer and a web / art desinger.

 

Andy Binder, born in Bavaria/Germany in 1979, is a professional live & studio drummer / drum teacher, who has been perfoming on stage since he was nine years old.

Andy has been working as a drum teacher for the last ten years. His concept and his method has helped hundreds of students in Europe (Germany, Greece, etc.) and Australia, to improve their knowledge in drumming/music.
